Implementing Oracle/Hyperion Financial Planning At Airways New Zealand
Airways New Zealand is one of the worlds' leading providers of commercial Air Navigation Services, responsible for managing all domestic and international air traffic operating within New Zealand's 37 million square kilometres of airspace. In September 2007 they embarked upon a process of implementing the Oracle/Hyperion Financial Planning application. A year down the road and the system is just about to run it’s 3rd Budget round and Airways have laid a foundation for the development of new processes for the organisation including dynamic budgeting and forecasting which they plan to have in place by January 2009. In this presentation Kevin Grosvenor, the Airways Financial lead for the project and Peter Walters from Indigo New Zealand and the Project Manager responsible for the implementation, look at the objectives, process and some of the major lessons that have been learned in implementing the product.
